ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair an all party meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday (today) to take the parties into confidence over Pak-China Economic Corridor project, ARY News reports.
The leaders of all major political parties have been invited by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the moot today where they will be briefed over Pak-China Economic Corridor- the keystone Chinese investment project in Pakistan.
The project involves energy and infrastructure projects linking the neighboring countries’ economies and creating an “economic corridor” between Pakistan’s Gwadar port and Kashgar in China’s western Xinjiang region.
The developmental project was signed by Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to Pakistan last month.
The political parties have expressed their reservations over the route of the corridor.
