ISLAMABAD – Talking to media after attending the judicial commission’s proceedings into alleged rigging in 2013 general elections, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday said the commission will analyze extra documents submitted by the Election Commission of Pakistan and much more will be revealed in coming days.
With formation of the judicial commission, democracy has strengthened in Pakistan, Khan said.
He said the commission will expose how independent the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Election Commission of Pakistan is.
To a question regarding the suspension of tribunal’s order on NA-125 by SC, Imran Khan said the apex court has issued one month stay order on the verdict.
He said the ruling PML-N is trying to give impression that returning officers and other ECP staff were having fun by committing irregularities.
