KARACH: Law enforcement agencies arrested over 30 suspected persons during raids in different cities of the country on Thursday night, ARY News reported.
According to details, Karachi Police arrested four suspects including two foreigners from Korangi area of the provincial capital. Weapons and drugs were recovered from the nabbed persons.
Four suspects, including two immigrants, were taken into custody following a police raid at New Karachi industrial area. Guns and stolen mobile phones were seized from the arrested men.
Police raided a drug den in Saeedabad area of Karachi and arrested three persons. Large quantity of drugs were also recovered in the process.
A suspected criminal was arrested in a wounded state following a police encounter in Dadu. Eighteen others were nabbed during search operations in different hotels and rest houses across the city.
Several persons were taken into custody in search operations across Lahore as well.
It should be noted that the civilian and military leadership of Pakistan decided to launch Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad against terrorists and criminals in the country following a surge of terror incident which claimed several lives.
