ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal said that there was no space for sit-ins and politics of unrest in the country.

In a televised interview on Sunday, he said the opposition parties should have avoided mass protests and sit-ins against the government and worked for electoral reforms in the country to make the election process more transparent in the future.

The minister claimed that the people of Pakistan had rejected “negative politics” of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and that its image as a political party was ruined due to its constant habit of changing stance and taking frequent U-turns on almost every issue.
